Shipping, Returns and Refunds
We ship all our orders via our shipping partner Delhivery or via India Post. Orders are shipped within 2-3 days from your date of purchase, unless the product you ordered is available on an On-Order Basis. The shipping time for products available On-Order basis will be mentioned individually in the product description of that product. We do not ship orders on Sundays and on Public Holidays. COD facility may be available in certain cities in India. Please check for the availability of the facility in your city of residence.
Rejection of COD orders in a huge loss in terms of money and in terms of loss of opportunity for the product in question for us. Therefore, we request all customers to plan and place an order. If you are not willing to pay and buy the product, we request you not to place an order. Open deliveries are not available for any order. Kindly do not as our delivery partners for open deliveries.
Rejected COD orders will be noted and customers who have rejected COD orders in the past will not be able to place direct orders via the website. If you have rejected our COD orders in the past and wish to place another order, please write in to us at firstname.lastname@example.org or send us a WhatsApp message on 8197563131. We will determine whether or not you genuinely want to place an order and will then send you a payment link to complete your payment. Customers with rejected COD orders will not be able to place COD orders again.
We ship worldwide. International orders may be subject to additional custom and duty requirements. All customs and duties related to their order, must be paid by the customer. Weaves of Tradition will not be responsible for the payment of such customs and duties. Please check the regulations in your country before placing an order. COD is not available for international orders. All payments have to be made via a credit/debit card.
If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us within 12 hours of placing the order. Once an order has been shipped it cannot be cancelled. Any order cancelled within the given time will be refunded in full within 3-4 business days. COD orders will not be refunded since we have not received any money.
Returns and Refund
We have a 7 days return policy for all eligible products. If 7 days have gone by since you received your product, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
We can offer you a full refund if and only if:
- The product is returned within 7 working days from the date of receipt of the product by you,
- The product is in its original packaging and in a sellable condition,
- The product has not been used, washed, tampered with in any way so as to render it defective,
- The product is entirely sent back along with its accessories and parts,
- The original tag of the product is in place and has not been removed,
- The original receipt of the product is sent across along with the product.
We will not be able to refund if:
- The product is damaged, washed, used or tampered with by the customer,
- Saree blouse pieces are removed from the saree,
- Another product is received in place of the product sent.
We will be able to give you only a partial refund if,
- The product returned is not in its original packaging,
- The product is returned after 7 days of receipt of the product by the customer,
- The original receipt of the product is not available.
Return of Defective Products
We ensure that every product we dispatch is thoroughly checked for quality. Therefore there is a small chance that you will receive a defective product. However, if it does happen that you have received a defective product, please write in to us at email@example.com or contact our customer care number at +91 8197563131.
Please send us an image of the defect in the product and we will arrange for a pick up if we determine that the product is defective. Refund for the defective product will be initiated once we receive the product back.
Reserve shipment for all your returns must be sent via our shipping partner Delhivery in cities where the reverse shipment facility is available. We will bear the reverse shipment costs for all eligible products.
Where reverse shipment facility is unavailable through Delhivery, the customer must ship the return themselves via India Post or other suitable courier services. We will refund your reverse shipment costs along with the refund for your order. Customers must include a valid postage/courier charges receipt for the reverse shipment expenses to be reiumbursed.
All international orders must be returned by the customers themselves. We do not offer international reverse shipments. The reverse shipment costs must be borne by the customers for all international orders.
In cities where the reverse shipment policy is available, our shipping partner will attempt to pick up the shipment two times on two consecutive days. If on both occasions the customer is unavailable to hand over the shipment, the customer will have to send the return themselves.

How we process the refund:
- Upon receipt of the product from the customer, we will check the product for its condition, packaging, original receipt, and the return period.
- Upon completion of the process, we will determine whether the customer is eligible for a full refund, or a partial refund or if the customer is ineligible for refund.
- If the customer is found to be eligible for refund, the refund amount will be processed back to your original mode of payment within 2-3 business days.
- If the customer is found to be ineligible for a refund, we will email the customer of the reason for the same and this will end our obligation towards the customer for that particular order.
- For COD orders, we will request you for your bank account information, for eligible refunds to be made to your account.
International orders will not have reverse shipment facility available. Customers will have to return the product at their own expense. All the above conditions related to returns and refund will apply to international orders also.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at email@example.com.
Customized products include:
1. Garments stitched as per customer size specifications and custom measurements;
2. Saree with fall and pico.
Customized products are non-replacable and non-returnable.
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
