Chanderi

Chanderi is a town in the Ashoknagar District of Madhya Pradesh. This town of much historical importance is famous for one of the best known weaves in India, the Chanderi weave. The Chanderi weave is characterised by sheer, luxurious finish, light weight fabric which is adorned by beautiful traditional motifs made with pure gold and silver zari.
