Shawl quality is very good. But I expected bit more soft.
Shawlgives very graceful look.
The deep pinkish red colour is complimented by the softness of the cotton. Rich yet simple!

Hand block printing is the art of printing artistic designs on a fabric using wooden blocks or other resist or discharge methods. The art of block printing started in India in the state of Gujarat. It is widely practiced in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab and West Bengal. Jaipur is now the most important place of block print manufacturing and the biggest export centre of block prints.
Jaipur prints also known as Bagru prints, Sanganeri block prints and many others are the most widely known and used prints. Though the techniques used in block printing in these areas are different, the designs and use of natural dyes make these fabrics extremely sustainable and appealing.
At Waves of Tradition, block prints form a huge part of our collections.
