Applique Cushion Covers

Applique is a craft used to create ornamental designs using pieces of fabric that are sewn on to a larger piece of fabric. The designs so formed have a floaty effect. In India, this craft is practiced in Rajasthan and Odisha. These cushion covers are made using the technique of cutwork applique in the Barmer region of Rajasthan.
